Carbon black and oil recovery
Working with partners, GLP can support systems that take prepared rubber feedstock and convert it into recovered carbon black, oil and gas through controlled thermal conversion.
Process performance depends on feedstock preparation, moisture content, particle size, dwell time, temperature control and downstream gas treatment.

Key stages
Thermal conversion
Material enters a heated processing chamber where dwell time and temperature can be controlled.
Condensing and gas cleaning
Generated gas is directed to condensing and/or gas-cleaning equipment for downstream management.
Solid cooling and energy use
The recovered solid phase is cooled before handling. Non-condensable gas may be treated or recovered as fuel where suitable.
